Siglent STB-3 Demo Board

Hey all,
I shared this post a week ago in one of the groups I'm in on facebook but I wanna share it here and ask the same question before I mail it back on monday....

I just wanna share a little story.  Bout a month ago I reached out to Siglent to ask if I could borrow one of their stb-3 demo boards for a few weeks. 2 reason: I wanted to mess with some of the more advanced triggering on my scope that I rarely use.....and my kid does virtual school at home.  He's been asking to mess with more stuff and this would be a good extra-curricular weekend project with him.

They ended up obliging - big thanks to the folks in the USA office that made this happen - they had no reason to go out of their way to do something like this - the board is safe and will be returned Monday 

So I make this post to share that story and to ask the community if anybody has any questions about this stb-3 demo board or if there is anything specific anyone wants to see.  (i have an 1104xe).  The stb-3 is not a very much known device - the have instructions buried in their website - but this thing can demo pretty much every complex signal an 1104xe can trigger and decode.

We went through all the different signals and protocol decoding and the project was a real success.  If anyone has any questions about the board or would like to see something feel free to ask

A trick to learn is rather than using the scope with a Serial trigger is to just use a falling trigger and a Holdoff setting longer than a packet to lock out the trigger from resetting until after a packet. This permits rock solid triggering at the start of a packet however if it's payload is constantly changing you won't freeze that however a serial trigger setting will.

Burst signals are also fun for sharpening your Single shot settings.
