Si473x radios improvement topic
« on: September 24, 2026, 08:15:23 am »
Hello guys,

Recently made some investigations and obtained some insights on inner working of those chips, in particular si4732a10/si4735D60.

So for all struggling with annoying dips in sound during frequency tuning,
I've made patches for am mode and for ssb (employing the same idea) which are eliminating those problems.
Tested this on ats-mini.

So try, give a feedback if anything.

Could you share the source code and what you learned, rather than the opaque blobs of binary data?

This is the way to work with Silicon Labs, their ic receivers use protected patch format which is not disclosed to public. I bet there will be a massive consequences if i put my own sources to the wild.

Some of the documentation and sources for the inner DSP firmware has been in the wild for a decent time now.
Because I got my copy from somewhere public at least.
