u.FL IPEX Antenna
« on: September 29, 2026, 09:44:58 pm »
I need to find a PCB style 2.4GHz wifi antenna that radiates out perpendicular to the board, and, ideally already has a 12" length of coax on it with u.FL.IPEX (MHF4) connector on the end. I need to dbl-side tape the antenna to the side or top of a audio receiver unit that is in a tight location. I see many on amzon and the like, but most antenna stuff from there usually has bad VSWR.

Anyone ever use an antenna like this, something with decent VSWR <1.5? If so which one?

Are you referring to a PCB-type 2.4 GHz antenna? If so, you can directly fabricate a PCB using this antenna design and then solder a coaxial cable to the arrow-indicated part.

If you don't want to fabricate the antennas and want documented performance, why not buy them from Digikey or Mouser instead of amazon?
