why do some bandpass filters have permament magnets in them?

i mean do you have a problem with flooding this forum with relevant questions? I never understood that. You simply bypass a few strings your not interested in. to be honest this is the same type of behavior I experienced with thermodynamics engineering in the company I used to work at. Ask a question, get thrown a book at you (god forbit he learns my curve tracing job)

Or, the rat race of college never left you. Everything is a threat. Usually means your job is easy but the bosses are scared cuz the name sound odd.

Are you sure they're magnets? They might be small ferrites to prevent other unintentional radiations.

they might be ferrite only. I will run an experiment today.

did not think you can combine an isolator and a BPF in one can.
