Advantest R4131D LCD display
« on: February 24, 2018, 12:01:21 am »
Hello everyone. Removed old R4131D tube display and replaced with 6-inch color LCD screen taken from Amstrad T6 TV with video input. Even so, by connecting to the rear video output of the analyzer, you can use the new monitor. If instead you want to improve the image definition and use the colors, you must enter the RGB signal built with a diode matrix of your choice, picking up the different information on the screen (diodes d1-d6 on section LOGIC BLR-015114 that form the full video signal sent to the old monitor), on pins 14 - 15 - 16 (RGB) of LA76810 on the TV Amstrad T6, raising the pin 17 (Blanking-in) to + 5V. Attached photos of the final realization of the operation and example scheme of the LA76810 in the circuit.
Note: the video signal must always be connected to use the synchronisms.
