Agilent 54835A scope (4 channel 1GHz / 4Gs/s) repair & uphack

Long time reader of the forum, first time posting.  Just got an Agilent 54846A in working state but want to make some quality of life upgrade with and SSD and a gotek drive.

Got this in the mail today but when I opened the scope it had a separate PCB for the floppy and HDD connection to the motherboard.
I see in one of the expansion cards has the FPC port for the floppy but I am not sure if it is possible to get the cables (IDE to motherboard and 26pin 1mm pitch FPC for floppy) and connect it that way or should I get another USB to floppy with IDE connection instead? and if the FPC cable has to be inverted?
Does anyone know how can I get this working?  Thanks

Gotek FDD emulators with flat cables are sold on AliExpress. However, they are slim-sized.

How do you make the uphack for the options? Could you please share the process for doing it with the 4.3 Firmware Win98?

if you're talking about the software uphack then you need to upgrade agScope to version 5.71, then used a patched agScope.exe which can be found here https://1drv.ms/f/c/33D543D7CFAF9A6A/AmFtQ4tbxWpNgEjJImBIVlA?e=7a4UJG

sadly I don't believe That version works on windows 98, so you have to upgrade to xp first, or manually patch the version you currently have manually.
