Analogue discovery
« on: July 13, 2015, 07:18:27 pm »
I have a Analogue discovery. This is the second one I have received. After the first failed with the USB connection becoming dislodged. I have been extremely careful with this one.  I used it a long while back and then put it away for sometime. It was working the last time it had been used.

Strangely it no longer works computer don't even search for driver and there are no sign of physical damage. So I don't know why it has failed.

Are there problems with the Analogue discovery design as I am not sure why its broken It was working the last time and I just put it away.

I use mine all the time and have no problems.  Does your computer recognize it as being connected under the device manager?  Does the led light up when connected?  Have you tried reinstalling the software?

No problems with mine either, touch wood, and I mostly use it out on the road (or on rails or in the air) so it sees its fair share of abuse when travelling.

Or malfunctioning USB on the PC.

Knock on wood it hasn't happened to me yet, but just probing with a scope with the voltage potential between the scope ground and the DUT, specially if you use different USB development boards could have damaged the PC USB Bridge. Did you try to see if the port is functional?

As for the Discovery, mine was fine last time I used it (last week)
