Hi.
The CMU can be used as a excellent Spectrumanalyser.
The RBW can be set from 10 Hz to 1MHz and the frequency resolution has a minimum of 0.1 Hz.
Depending on the options, the frequency stability is 1x10-6/Y(standard), 1x10-7/Y (Option B11), or 1x10-9/Y (Option B12)
VBW is not specified but you can choice between 3 sensivity levels.
It also has avery accurate generators form 100 KHz to 2700 MHz. and several reference outputs.
Some of them have the audio option B41 for analyzing and generating dual AF signals.
It has no tracking generator, but you can use a software solution on a PC or buy a third party TG.
However, keep in mind that it is meant as a test station for handy s and so it has o lot of functions you will never use.
That makes it more difficult to learn understanding the unit.
