Differential Probe voltage derating with frequency?
« on: March 10, 2016, 11:09:31 am »
Hi,

Looking at a 25Mhz Sapphire SI-9001 differential probe. The datasheet shows the voltage derating starts 1000V RMS from 3.5Mhz down to 150V RMS at 25 Mhz.

My question is, if you are probing a 1Mhz flyback converter pulse train with a 50nS rise time, can you safely probe 1000V RMS or only 150V RMS?
