DSOXLAN questions
« on: February 28, 2017, 01:05:06 am »
Some questions about the DSOX LAN module (I have an Anagram compatible one).

1) Do I need a valid installed license to use it?
2) Do I have to use a straight or a crossed LAN cable when connecting the scope to my router?
3) Do I have to use a straight or a crossed LAN cable when connecting the scope directly to my PC (point to point connection)?
4) Is there a default password?

1 - no
2 - highly doubtful it matters, nearly every router is auto detect - just use a normal straight cable.
3 - you could possibly need a cross over cable but your PC should have auto polarity detect. You would need to hardcode an IP in the scope or use a DHCP server on your PC for this application
4 - a default password to do what?
