Fluke 8845A Second-Hand Worth It?
« on: August 05, 2025, 11:46:17 pm »
Wondering if anyone can reccomend the Fluke 8845A; will be used for some long-term datalogging and is available for about 650$ CAD up here off eBay. I'd not like anything more expensive than that, having considered some offerings from HP and Keithley.

Well it didn't do that when I tested it...

If it is fully functional and in good physical shape, that's a pretty good deal.  Those are very nice meters but not ones that can be easily repaired or restored from junk condition.
A 3.5 digit 4.5 digit 5 digit 5.5 digit 6.5 digit 7.5 digit DMM is good enough for most people.
