Fluke 887A Null Detector Circuit
« on: November 04, 2013, 06:45:29 pm »
Does anyone have a circuit for the Fluke 887A (or 883A) Differential Voltmeter that shows an IC based null detector circuit? All the manuals that I can find on line show a discrete transistor amplifier with a mechanical chopper occupying a full length board. The unit I have has a half length board with a single op amp made by Burr Brown and marked KM010 which I have not been able to find on any online searches, presumably it's a custom marked part.  The board is marked 887A-4024 and is part number PN812610 Rev C. The unit is currently not working and all indicators are that the fault is on this board. The meter is hard over and on examination all the other circuit blocks appear to do what they should.
