GOULD DSO 475

Hi all

I have a GOULD DSO 475 but it is not working:

   The scope starts/boots up but only displays "VERSION 6.18" on the CRT
   The front panel does not seem to react to any inputs on the buttons
   The LEDs on the front panel light up but do not change either (for example when I change channel 1 from CD to AC or to GND mode)
   None of the menu or function buttons seem to be working
   I have no trace, no lines, nothing. only "VERSION 6.18" shows on the CRT



I have searched the internet for weeks now but the only service manual I can find is for the GOULD DSO 400, not for the model I have (GOULD DSO 475)

I would like to repair it myself because I like doing debugging and repairing stuff but never had to repair such a complicated device with no service manual and no hints on what is missing.

All the supply voltanges seem to be ok (only the +15V seem to be a little low (14.6V), in the 400 service manual it should be 15.0V +/- 0.2V)
All the fuses I could find are ok, none is blown.

Any ideas where I could start trouble shooting the scope

Does any of you have the same model? or even better the service manual for the GOULD DSO 475??

I hope some of you could help me on this manner.

Thats good, at least it is closer to the 475 model than the 400 model.

Is it in PDF form?

Is there a possibility to send it trough e-mail?

Hello,

i've got an Gould 450 with some strange error in channel two. The gain of channel 2 is always to high, an the square wave edges are overshooting.
Can you send me the manual for the 475? The Manual of the Gould 400 doesn`t fit to my instrument.
