What are the criteria for choosing the right photo-MOS? Why was Panasonic AQY210EH chosen...
...
Edit: To clarify -- the reason why I want to use KAQV214S instead of AQY210EH is that my local supplier only has the latter in an SMD package, whereas the former also in a THT package.

Simple reason - I chose the Panasonic AQY210EH because it was available from my supplier without long delay.

I am very amateur so excuse me.

I have had this oscilloscope now for some time but i need ask for pro's.

When i am measuring things and i see line its there and i press stop it might sometimes not stop there but it will refresh the stupid thing after a sec :horse:

What i am doing wrong? Or i start using OpenHantek software?

Update
OpenHantek wont work on my Win7 T60 thinkpad so i will be stuck with original software.  :-/O

Hello, I am a new user of this forum. I could not find a similar topic on the forum, maybe someone has already done this before. After installing OpenHantek software from this page https://github.com/OpenHantek/OpenHantek6022. The software works without any problems, but I can't switch to the original OEM software. I wanted to share the oscilloscope to my cousin, but he doesn't want to mess with additional software on his work laptop. What should I do to restore the ability to start Hantek 6022BE using the original manufacturer's program?

Currently, after connecting the oscilloscope to the power supply, the red light does not even blink, and it did before, not to mention the lack of compatibility with the original program. I understand that after installing latest drivers for OpenHantek, you cannot easily switch from one software to another after i.e. disconnecting USB cable?

I apologize if I am violating the rules of this forum in any way,
Kind Regards

Hi MiousheQ,
You do not install anything on the Hantek6022 (unless you do a calibration, but this data is compatible with the original SW), only on your PC. If you connect the Hantek to another PC where the original (in my opinion scrappy) Hantek SW is installed, it will work normally with this SW.

6022BE uses the Cypress CY&68013A, which is an unusual microcontroller. It does not have Flash memory. Instead, it has a bootloader that works with DFU, and simply waits for a program to load from the USB bus. I.e. It does not do anything (not even blink a led) before it gets some software from the PC. There are some pictures of it's internals on the sigrok website.
