Hantek DSO2D15 Volts per division query
« on: February 06, 2026, 12:19:53 pm »
Hi, there, forum newbie here. I had a look for similar queries but may have missed one or more, if they exist. Apologies, if so!

Anyway, to cut to the chase:

I have just bought a Hantek DSO2D15 with a view to servicing some CD equipment i have, but I have run into an issue when it comes to selecting the V/Divn values I need. Specifically, although the range is supposed to be 10V down to 2mV, in practice the scope won't allow me to select anything less than 20mV/Divn for either channel. I tried calibrating the scope, and for a few minutes I was able to select 5mV and 2mV. While I was at it I decided to upgrade to the latest firmware, which completed satisfactorily. But now I'm back to not being able to set the V/Divn. to less than 20mV.

I'm wondering if this is a limitation in X-Y mode, as I need this to be able to examine the Lissajous patterns, with CH. 1 (X) set to 20mV/divn. and Ch. 2 (Y) to 5mV/divn.

I would be very grateful if anyone can shed any light.

How is Channel -> Probe set?
In x1 it is 2mV, in x10 it is 20mV min.

Btw. the main thread for this model is here:
