HTBasic/HPBasic and ALMA
« on: November 13, 2015, 05:49:05 pm »
Since i've got no idea where to post this (but it's at least somehow test gear related) i'm posting this here.

At work I found an acient Floppy together with a Dongle for a software called ALMA from 1999 (Version 8.80 or something).

That software can be used to create flowcharts for HTBasic/HPBasic programs which we use for automated production tests. The software itself works when used with the supplied "SAMPLE" file, but i can't get it working with one of my programs. Does anybody know what kind of file format I have to supply to ALMA?

I have several Versions of HP/HTBasic (HTBasic 6.33, HTBasic 9.x and also 10.X) on my hand to try it out.

Hope anybody knows something about this ancient software. I can supply an Trial-Version of this Software if anybody wants to get a hand of this, but it only works with the "SAMPLE" file. The trial is "SECURED" but you can UNSECURE it if you know how...

Also information about if the company that made that software still exists would be appreciated.

EDIT: Forgot to mention that the company that made it is called "Datarota" but it can't find any substantial information about it.
