IC Tester - Manual ? Hacks ?
« on: July 04, 2020, 07:54:55 pm »
Hi everyone,

Today my ic-tester arrives from amazon - "well known" under several names, this one here comes from tutoy.
It seems to work, test a tl072, tl074 and ne555 with it.
But:
No manual was included, where can I get it from ?
Don´t know where to put transistors or diodes into, for example.
Further, are any hacks known like extended library for op-amps ?
Test a tl072/074 and it shows tl082 or tl 084, because these are the ones it got in it´s library.

Martin

I don't see how such a tester can alone differentiate between tl7xx and tl8xx ?

Of course it can't , the same for many many others opamps . Pins are the same , just some parameters are different that such a tester  can't measure for sure  ;D
Important is that it can detect an opamp good / bad .
