Increase Record Length Tektronix TDS6604

I recently got a TDS6604 for my lab. We're running experiments with the max settings, 2CH 20GSa/s, 5ns/div. The record length at this scale is 1000 samples. Is there any way to get a longer record length? Can I sneak some extra RAM in there?? Any ideas are welcome. If this is just stupid, that's also good to hear before I dive down this rabbit hole.

I'm guessing that the answer is going to be the same as always: money. In other words, buy a newer scope.
