NanoVNA-F V2 3GHz with 4.3" IPS
« on: May 19, 2021, 07:41:24 am »
I tried to find this model thread from forum but I can not find. Also this is quite different VNA even when it is based to other nano VNA's. But also this is quite different.

Building quality looks better than any Nano what I have seen (I have Nano VNA V2 3.2" "black and gold" (well made "clone") and more new NanoVNA V2plus4 from official source.

This NanoVNA-F V2 3GHz is so different that I think it earn its own topic. About more common NanoVNA's there can find LOT if discussion and info everywhere around web. But about this NanoVNA-F V2 3GHz nearly like nothing. Bit surprice because when I take this to my hand it can immediately feel it is well and seriously made.  It came in plastic box box, including cheap cal kit and 2x 20cm 405 cable.   USB connector is C as it should be in 2021.

manufacturer, Sysjoint, web side Basic Performance information looks obsolete. Perhaps based to some early hw/FW version.
Also User Guidel is highly obsolete based to FW 0.1.0. Today max points is 201 and with PC software nano saver, can of course get more resolution using multiple segments, as is also used in my image below. Of course this is not max limit at all.
Also it support direct screen shot from its display using Nano-saver.
There is also some features what are not available in Nano VNA V2.

Finally I have NanoVNA what have TFT suitable to my old eyes. 4.3"  800x480 IPS.
S11 and S21 dynamic range is ok but bit less than latest NanoVNA V2plus4.
But for my use this new F model is well ok.
Also they have developed system so that FW update is easy. In update mode it looks like just one USB stick and just move update file to this drive and thats it, really clever! No any hassle with Nano-QT software etc.

Price here in China was under 100 euro including delivery (purchased from Taobao, from one very very good trusted seller).

There is more new FW than this what I have now (just out from box). I have updated it to latest 0.2.2 but have some problem (perhaps my some mistake or something what I do not yet know) with connection to NanoVNA-saver 0.3.8 software in windows. So I return it back to 0.2.1 version.

Here one test image how it looks just after cal.   Port 1 50 ohm load and Port 2 open.

Bit poor quality  picture.

Box is really strong aluminium profile and well finished.
5000mAh battery give long run, manufacturer claim is 7 hour. Have not tested.

Perhaps I want later look what couplers they have used in Port 1.

Do anybody know more about this hardware?

I drive a LEC (low el. consumption) BEV car. Smoke exhaust pipes - go to museum. In Finland quite all electric power is made using nuclear, wind, solar and water.

Wises must compel the mad barbarians to stop their crimes against humanity. Where have the wises gone?

I hope someone can recognize these baluns and how are these overall quality.
Attached some images about these and then some other random detail images.

Sorry poor images, available is only just some poor phone camera obscura.

Question is: Who is most likely manufacturer of these baluns and what model, most likely?
