Ordered Riden DPS5020 PS controller module

Well, actually it's in my Aliexpress cart, ready to go.

I'm buying these both from the manufacturer ("RD RIDEN store"). It's my first Ali purchase.

I checked shipping costs and:

"Free" gets it here (USA) in about 4 weeks.
If I want to pay UPS I can have it here in 1.5-2 weeks.
It will cost $30 to speed up the PS module.
It will cost an additional $30 to speed up the tin box (and fan, terminals, screws, etc...) that I'm going to put it in.

Since I'm buying these from the manufacturer's store, can't they put them both in one box and save me some $$? I know that the 2x volume of the combined box isn't free, but I don't see the option to combine items to save some shipping.

Do Ali sellers offer this? What am I missing?

Try to contact the seller, there is a chance they will understand and help you out.
Note that these shipping options will be checked more carefully by customs, so be prepared to pay additional fees

What do you mean that customs will check my choice of shipping? How does that affect the customs (whether I ship quickly or not)?

Do you mean that the increased cost of shipping increases the total cost and this requires a closer look at the order?

This article says that the "de minimis" value for USA is US$800, Canada US$117, and Mexico US$100. De minimis is the total amount of an international order (including shipping costs) placed by a citizen of that country that will be allowed into his or her country duty- and customs-free.

My total order is significantly less than the threshold so no issues.

Yeah, i mean that usually parcels shipped with seller shipping method will not get special attention by customs and so you are less likely to pay additional fees if the object has a declared value higher than the minimum.
The minimum varies between countries, in your case there is no problem since the order is below US minimum
