i tried to do it with a fresh windows 11 laptop, but was quickly enraged by getting the paths for python working, so I used a pi4b with freshly flashed 64b lite trixie and had it done fairly painlessly

I think the next step is trying to get through 2000 series running on pico7 automotive software .
