Just bought the reiden RD6018 and i want to controll it with custom software
I tryed connecting it through the wifi module connector and rs232-usb converter but had no success connecting this way with their original software

Please help - how do i connect the riden RD6018 through serial TTL to my computer?

BTW do i need to pull-up the "en" socket ?

Then either your unit is broken (but I doubt that since USB and WiFi use separate circuits), or you are doing something wrong. Please read up on how to use it (especially WiFi is counter-intuitive at first). There are some videos on how to use it, and a lot of git repos for interfacing with it.

The custom software that is mentioned multiple times on this forum can also help a lot, and the documentation of the custom software has some pointers on remote control.
