Rigol DS1074Z-S Maths A+B Function
« on: September 04, 2014, 06:01:10 pm »
Whilst On my Rigol I fed a10MHz sine wave from channel one of the inbuilt signal generator into channel one of the scope and another 10 MHz signal lagging at 90 degrees from channel two of the inbuilt signal generator into channel two of the scope.

So far so good I see exactly what you'd expect to see. Two sine waves 90 degrees out of phase with each other.

However when I enable the A+B math function the output is inverted to what is expected.

Has anyone else seen this, is it an error with Rigol or have I possibly done something daft?

OK sorted - I found that the math function had a buried invert facility which I hadn't previously seen.

Math button -> Math (Right Down) -> Options -> Invert
