SDS2000X-E in XY mode with ERES

Hi,

I made some curve tracing in XY mode and experienced a freezed scope on some occasions.

What I can say now is that it happens when the curves are crossing the limit of the window with ERES activated.
As long as they stay inside the boundaries, everything seems fine.
On the first pic, I tried to fill the screen but went a step too far. It freezed while switching to 100mV/DIV on X axis.
The only knob remaining active is the power button, all others become irresponsive. The screen is no more updated.

Funny thing and for the first time, the crash ended up in a four channel scope with CH3 & CH4 appearing in the menu.
I was able to reproduce it with another picture, but most the time the extra channels do not appear.

It doesn't happen with a flat line, there must be some fancy curves.
But when the conditions are met (ERES + resizing X axis too much), it freezes every time.
Not a big issue, my workaround is to activate ERES once the curves fit nicely in the window and deactivate it while playing around.

The latest firmware is installed.(V1.1.19R5)
