UNI-T UT8802E with Sigrok
« on: May 27, 2022, 11:38:10 am »
Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a UNI-T UT8802E bench multimeter. It's a relatively cheap device, and it features USB connectivity. I wanted to use it with Sigrok, but it wasn't supported, so I implemented a driver in libsigrok. It seems to be working fine for me, but I was wondering if any owner of this meter would be interested in giving it a try and test it before I submit the code upstream.
Also, I developed that under Debian GNU/Linux 11. I don't know if it would work on Windows-based machines, I suppose it should.

Sources are published on GitHub : https://github.com/thlc/libsigrok/tree/feature-uni-t-ut8802e

I can assist you if you are unfamiliar with compiling stuff under Linux.
Thanks!

-Thomas
