I found this in a thrift store and i didn't know what it was but i knew i just had to buy it since it looked so epic cool.

though ofc i want to know what it is and if it is somewhat useful for anything just for fun.
it seems very old i would guess 70's? but just look at it with the all the buttons ans switches. it's just beautiful and fun.

it says "Anders Elektronik" on it and German text about reading and programming and Dator A2540 so i guess it is a reader or programmer of sort? i just really want to know.

A PROM or EPROM programmer specialized for use by field engineers for specific equipment, and built into a suitcase.
This frequently meant burning, copying, or modifying ROMs for radio communication or PLC machinery, such as programming repeater lists for radio units, or logic ladders for industrial PLCs. Generally, not useful for other jobs.
