Windows software for LPT-1250 Spectrum Analyzer

I have an LPT-1250 spectrum analyzer from LP Technologies, and I would really like to find the Windows software "SDL.EXE" for it. The software is used to remotely control the device from a PC.
Does anyone have this software or know where it can be found online?

Excerpt from the manual about SDL.EXE:
With the remote operation program, SDL.EXE, the LPT-1250 is capable of communicating with a computer over the RS-232 port, providing display of the spectrum trace, saving the trace and printing of the trace, plus allows you to control the settings of the LPT-1250 from the computer.
The PC application is designed to run on Windows NT, Windows 95, or Windows 98. The serial port used is selectable and the port setups are handled automatically by the application. The cable should be a straight through RS-232 cable (not a NULL modem).

Yes, I have asked the supplier www.lptech.com but no reply so far.

For the records if others are interested.
I found the software sdl_v2_16.exe and is seems to work ok on Windows 11.
The bad news is that the software is copy protected, you need a 16 digit key to unlock the software.
Every LPT-1250 unit has its own key based on its serial number.
I got another units serial number and corresponding key but it does not work with my unit.
The supplier www.lptech.com refuses to give any kind of support on their old equipment.

How is that key tested, by asking a serial number?

Make a sniffer.
When serial number comes out your sniffer replaces it.

Yes, a sniffer that replaces the serial number could be a way forward.

@acanto,  is there any memory in it,  like  eeprom,  I2c,   serial devices etc....  maybe   

you could be able to make a dump of it and try on another LPT-1250     for sure the serial is stored somewhere ?

Hi!

I enclosed my sw for LPT-1250.
1. Make a directory to save then content of the zip-file.
2. Config.txt will hold the COM-port number selected.
3. License.sec holds the key.
4. Regdata.txt. I saved here my key and my unit's serial no.

Try it, and try to discover the encryption method. That is all what I can help you!

By the way! I'm search  some information about the calibration, as my unit forget it. Can you help?

I don't remember how was it installed.... it was year 2002 :-)
I will check the documentation (with the registration data), but only at end of august, as I'm not at home.
