More or less a theoretical question, but anyway: I could get a Yokogawa 701922 for a good price which seems to be a rebranded Testec TT-SI 200, but there's one catch (in addition to the very limited +/-20V differential voltage range), namely that the Yokogawa version has some proprietary Lemo connector instead of the default Testec one. In the 701922's manual the connector's pinout is shown, but it's +/-12V while the Testec TT-SI 200 has a single supply from 3.3V to 16V (but the official voltages are either 6V or 9V). I would assume that only +12V and GND are actually used and that I could use a 9V battery as well, but I'm hesitant to buy a probe with a very limited voltage range and the risk of having to tinker and mess around with a +/-12V supply.
So does anybody know for sure if the Yokogawa 701922 can supplied by a single positive voltage (like 5V or 9V) just as the Testec TT-SI 200?

I am also curious about how sensitive these Yokogawa differential probes are to input voltage. It seems the Testec version is run on 6V to 9V. Yokogawa on 12V, or maybe +/- 12V. So seems rather wide. But the Yokogawa may have been modified.
