Tisher,

Thanks for this post and fir identifying the connector used to mate with the Exx series camera. People have asked where to buy these previously and now they will know  :-+

A 3D printed casing does make life easier when it comes to mounting the connector on the top. Even just a top cap that holds the connector securely to the battery would work well. You solution using hot melt glue works though and that is what matters  :-+ Another option might be to make a simple Plasticene (children’s modelling clay) mould for a top cap that will hold the contacts and pour either 2 part Epoxy glue of plastic embedding resin into it to make a moulded part. An original battery can be used to make the basis of mould by pushing it into the modelling clay (with the contact holes covered) Hours of fun to be had  ;D

Thanks for finding the battery connector!

I made a 3D printable battery case that should fit the components you found... (I don't currently have a 3D printer either, but it's based on measurements of my OEM battery). Someday I'll have a printer again and can go through my backlog of stuff to print :P
