Something light hearted
I have been studying old thermal camera user and service manuals and was reminded of the days when cartoonists were engaged to create cartoons for inclusion in the manuals for light hearted annotation associated with the accompanying text. In the AGA Thermovision 750 manual there is a section detailing potential uses for the Liquid Nitrogen cooled portable camera. To illustrate the scenarios, a cartoonist called Christina Lundqvist was engaged. I attach four of her cartoons from that manual. Just look at the little cartoon character holding the camera .... always smiling
In truth, lugging around the bulky and heavy AGA 7xx series camera would soon wipe the smile off of the users face
I include a more realistic picture of a typical AGA 7xx camera user loaded down with the chest mounted controller/monitor. No smile evident
I actually like the cartoons that appeared in manuals. Anyone else remember them ?
