FLIR T1020 and other other high-end camera teardowns

Just thought I'd post this, since some people may not know about it.
FCC certifications often require complete teardowns with photographs and documentation, and they let anyone download the reports.
FLIR seems to use a testing company that is very keen on internal photos - good for us!

Very interesting, thanks for sharing!

However I am a little bit disappointed the lab did the teardown not in an electrostatic protected area (EPA), you can clearly see the wood surface.
On the Internet, nobody knows you're a cat.

All such places like to ensure that you test samples are comprehensively destroyed........
