Windows 11 compatibility
« on: October 25, 2025, 03:38:16 pm »
Hello,

With the end of windows10 support, I think this compatibility issue will arise more and more.

I have a Lenovo ideapad320 laptop that suits me well for what I have to do.

The windows11 test tells me that the AMD E2-9000 Radeon R2 4 computes core 2c+2g processor is not supported on windows11.
What solutions?
Possibility to change it......buy new computer????

And pray that they don't enable the compiler to use the new instructions, that are supposed to be on the "Approved MCU's" .......
M$ already warned, that it might happen ...

Hello  Coromonadalix,

If you read French, that’s what you want to talk about.

hello,

To be tested....

I have the possibility to put a second identical disc instead of the DVD. Make a copy of the original disc in case with AOMEI I believe. If you have better, let me know.
All this before I start.
I need to pick up the tutorial.

I would suggest Rescuezilla for diskimage backup/restore

re,
I specify, I did not make an additional protection request.
The PC offers me this option for a year, but as said, I haven’t validated anything.
I also specify that I have an active Microsoft account.

an idea?
