This is so awesome! Just the kind of documentary that I would watch – with Dick Smith himself no less. This is, in Dave’s words “sex on a stick” or “porn for geeks”. Definitely XXX rated.

I can’t wait to see this. Looks really really interesting. XXX rated indeed.

Dave! You’re on TV XD! So when is this getting released?
Felt ironic having Dick Smith interviewed since DSE is mostly consumer electronic these days. I still have a cheepo iron from them, the tip broke years ago and I sharpened a piece of copper rod in high school and just screwed that in. Works to this day.

Not being an Aussie I don’t recognize the people in the trailer, but they seem to talk reasonable. Except that one Dave guy with his crazy talk
Nice touch with the oscilloscope waveform between the segments, although a little bit of a clich

Amazing, seems to be the case not only for you all in Australia but for most of the world. Can’t wait for the full length documentary.

this looks like its going to be amazing. as someone who grew up on electronics and tinkering , made a career out of computers and now almost 30 and looking to get back into electronics… this really is like sex on a stick.

Looks very good ! But I hope subtitles will be released because there are some sentences I don’t understand.

Wow – that trailer did the job for me. I’m here waiting and wanting for the real ting. It made me think back to my early teen years when under my bed I’d keep a Jaycar, Dick Smith and Altronics catalog, the last few issue of Electronics Australia and Silicon Chip.

Awesome !!I have downloaded the video and sent to all my colleagues !! Waiting for the full version

I must say, that is excellently shot and edited! Really nice stuff.
But the thing that amazed me is that I had no idea that Blackmagic Design was an Australian company! That is really cool – they make amazing products and we need more companies like them here!
