Siglent SDS1202CNL Scope. What are its ADVANTAGES???
« on: April 09, 2014, 11:53:12 am »
The Siglent SDS1202CNL has the following:1)BW=200 Megs 2)A sampling rate of 1Gig/sec PER CHANNEL and3)5K of

memory PER CHANNEL.  QUESTION: Can anyone tell me what the ADVANTAGES of such a system are?? I believe this

scope might very well run like an analogue one! I want a scope to be FAST to tell the user what is going on -- almost in

real time.

Price.

FTFY.

As far as the scope goes, be very cautious of those specs. Quite often you will find that if you use the second channel at the same time, that you will at least half the sampling rate and memory.
