It seems to me that we are seriously being let down by the actions of those at the top of society (in financial terms at least).
This is not a new phenomenon for instance Richard Gibbs became the 'richest commoner in England' in mid Victorian times.
He did this legally, following the 1807 and 1833 abolition of slavery Acts.
But he still made his fortune off the backs of other less fortunate folks (mainly Chinese) he 'indentured', paying them a pittance in comparison to his own financial rewards.
In effect a form of diluted slavery.
How is stealing the hard work of many other folks today really any different ?
