How many PSU's Do You Have?
« on: February 11, 2014, 01:04:41 pm »
So, I think I need to form a support group for PSU hoarding. :(

I just can't seem to get enough PSU's. I would like to hear from others with this same sickness! :)

I have 8 lab supplies and about 175+ wall wart/pack supplies. {sigh...} - I finally sorted them, what a task that was!

My lab PSU's are:

 - Rigol DP832A
 - B&K Precision 1655A
 - Mastech HY3005F
 - Korad KA3005D
 - X5045 Pro 30V 5A Digital DC Power Supply
 - Ikegami RC-IC  Variable 1.5KV PSU
 - RS 12DC 5A Fixed
 - Elenco XP-625

I won't even begin to list the pack PSU's!

I have in total 6 Power supply

TDK-Lambda ZUP 20-20  --  20V 20A   -  Variable voltage and current with OVP and UVP
2x Atten TPR3602A  --  36V 2A  -  Variable voltage and current.
Atten APR1505A  --  15V 5A  -  Variable voltage and current.
Atten APR12001A  --  120V 1A - Variable voltage and current.
Atten AT1001D  --  10V 1A - Variable voltage. Very cheap this one. Quality is very bad...

All Atten are low quality but can be good enught for my use. TPR series have 7 segment display, APR analog.

Lot of time i see HP6632A, 6632B, Agilent E3641A on ebay, but for now i not need this precision and quality.

Where did you get the TDK PSU? I need a good high current variable DC supply.

About 10,000 or so in the warehouse, and a few dozen in my lab.

Would you like an ATX PSU or a 19V laptop adapter?

I'll take any dual or triple redundant PSUs if you have any decent quality ones for free or cheap! ;)

Only two AMREL :-[
One LPS 301 and a LPS 304

I am looking for a PD 2020 for a while now.
But here in germany, I think it's easier to buy
a T-Rex skeleton or a space shuttle
then one of these pornographic PD PSUs :(

2x Farnell LS30-10 - oldie but goodie - probably favorite PSU - small & light & full schematics in manual!
Agilent 6632A
Xantrex 150V 7 amp (ouch!)
Xantrex 600V 1.7A (Scary!)
Tenma 72-8345 ( mostly used when I nedd a small PSU away from home)
Huge 1kw  telecom rackmount PSU 0-48V at 20A - most often used for charging car battery

And of course a gazillion wall warts, bricks and some random big-ass SMPSUs
Youtube channel:Taking wierd stuff apart. Very apart.
Mike's Electric Stuff: High voltage, vintage electronics etc.
Day Job: Mostly LEDs

*HP* E3615A
*HP* E3620A
*HP* E3630A
*HP* 6220B
Keithley 220 current source
Power Designs 2020B

2 cheapo wung hung lo 30v 5a supplies I was hoping to rebuild better... yet I lack the time =\
You can probably guess that I like HP's older stuff, and don't see the point of having silly Agilent or Keysightblah tagged gear that they haven't significantly improved on.

Looks really nice Ian.

Did you customize the case yourself, or have it done (laser cut & etched?)?
