I love this kind of insanity.  I'm amazed he didn't kill the magnetron with all of those arcs.

6 seconds until a cup of water boils...

I usually prepare my tea 2 liters at a time and refrigerate.

I nuke a cup of tea at a time and it takes almost 3minutes to get it boiling.

That 20kw microwave would be a godsend for my tea fix...

Maybe I need to make some sort of huge bank LifePo battery pack with 20 1kw water boiling heating elements like those in small kettles and create my own instant hot tea machine.

   That,  actually,  might be cool, (entertaining) to watch, and plus the power level might be high enough to play around with (educational).

   Cook a dead cow...but that might take 7 minutes.   Warm up a HOT TUB ??
I'd try cooking a COUCH, ...if it was me.

For silliness,  try 'cooking a microwave oven'.
   You could,  also try cooking your 'Use Permit',  issued by local Fire Marshall.

Speaking of which:  at some point you would want a permit,  or need a permit,  ultimately.
Sneaking is ethical, I hear,  if you don't flaunt it.
Not 'getting caught' WAS the new morality.

At present,  the ethics could be:  "I'm not going to answer that."
Tell THAT to your local Fire Marshall.

I've wondered for a while what the max power output of a household magnetron is.

at a minimum you should be able to double it because its running off a half wave voltage doubler.


then maybe double it again before it arcs over internally.
