For what it's worth(on the call-out) different countries see different things as humour, some see as racism.
I thought it was more a clumsy, rather immature joke, not intended racism.

I don't think it was racist. Nobody question for example the general quality of Japanese and Korean products. It was a satire about the quality of Chinese products and their English manuals as we often find them on ebay and similar sources.

No, it's about horrible quality products and penny pinching which the majority seem to originate from China. I shouldn't have to learn Chinese to decipher documentation or operate a product that is bound for the western market. The Japanese, Taiwanese, Germans... all seem to be able to handle that no problems. Don't make it an argument over race.

And currently they have a damn sight better understanding of business and the profit motive than the western economies. The British used to say that if you locked all the Hong Kong merchants in a cave for several years, they would have all gotten rich by selling each other rocks. We have much to learn from them.
