Basically what you have there generates so much EMI that the measurements are not trustworthy, especially with the DMMs in the photos.

Bedini resurrected? He also measured BS...for the same reasons mostly...a simple showcase was measuring car battery voltage with a cheap (unshielded basically) DMM placed on top of the ignition coil...back then I got battery voltages I never dreamed of  :wtf:

  • This is NOT "AI Slop". This is years worth of independent work, sleepless nights, and $10's of thousands of dollars spent on the highest-end equipment and components to establish an entire theoretical framework that's been refined and compressed into a clean and coherent open-source repository which is all based on a "mathematical convenience" doing things that conventional physics says is literally impossible.

Are you certain? It feels like maybe an AI chatbot was your partner in crime here. It probably offered a lot of positive reinforcement. "Yes, you are a genius".

You are powering some kind of load with an ammeter in series that is reading 0? What is the bandwidth of this ammeter?

If you would look at a sample of soil with a microscope, you would see an entire world of microorganisms living there. If you take a million fps slow motion camera and film lightning strikes or explosions you see lots of incredible details normally hidden from human eye.

Properly measuring of what really happens is often very difficult. Especially if fast transients dominate circuit operation. You need high frequency instruments, often special probes and a careful technique in order to have enough detail, avoid noise and actually measure what you want to measure (not something else). Otherwise you might be missing so many important details that you draw incorrect conclusions. Then you are like a person 500 years ago who looks at the soil and sees nothing more than macroscale dirt, then wonders how the worms appear out of nothing (from microscopic eggs) or how dirt may cause mysterious diseases (no idea about bacteria) or how the disease may spread between individuals and think it's some kind of black magic curse.

Bottom line, your instruments and/or measurement techniques are not good enough, giving you false data. In reality your circuit is doing something a little different from what you think (and much more conventional). Not blaming you, cause measuring these things are not easy, even for professionals.

Thanks for the reply and the feedback. Is there any indication of me having measured anything incorrectly? If so, I would genuinely like to know. I have a SDS1202X-E Oscilloscope and used several different probes including a 40kV probe and a 5,600V Differential Probe for most of my experiments. This is a core issue I see in most of these forums. Everyone always chalks it up to a "measurement error" even though they're looking at a 1,000V/100kHz SPWM H-Bridge Inverter running a 60Hz AC pure sine wave load from a film cap reservoir being powered by a rectified open-loop secondary air-core coil whose primary air-core coil is completely decoupled, isolated and is only being powered by a ~5W DC input. The 60Hz Bridgeport 1,670VA Transformer alone has an idle power draw of 7W - 15W while the inverter is running. Please read the GitHub repository before making assumptions. I'm not a beginner or someone who doesn't know what they're talking about making random claims. I've done the work. The least you can do is read the work.

Yes I have opened your GitHub link, but I'm not gonna read it, I don't have that much time. What I would like to see is a clear and full electrical schematic (graphical with resistor, transistor symbols and whatever else you have there). You can add notes pointing to schematic nodes documenting what you measured there - voltages, currents, scope screenshots. Your GitHub is full of text, your post is also extremely long, but no schematics. We like schematics here.

I was looking at the Tesla patent about the bifilar coil, pretty creative arrangement of the coil turns.  Overall, it lowers the self-resonant frequency of the coil (when compared with a simple/monofilar spiral coil), which is pretty cool!  :-+

Though, from the patent text, it looks like that idea was not new at the time, because Tesla mentions in the patent's text how coils with multifilar isolated wires in series were already known.  :-//

It's very similar with the device you describe.  The playlist has plenty of mistakes and misunderstandings.  I've let it play in the background, and couldn't see anything unusual or unexpected.  The things that the author was showing as puzzling, were normal and easy to explain with the known/mainstream physics.

Anyway, at some point the guy started asking for money, the YouTube voting was disabled by the autor, and worst of all, at some point he started to claim healing properties.  At that point, I stopped seeing him as a curious guy who doesn't know enough electromagnetism.  At that point, he start looking no different than a charlatan, asking for money and claiming healing properties, such that those who are clueless about physics will keep sponsoring him.  I didn't watch further, it was no longer entertaining.



1.  - Are you the guy from that playlist?
2.  - Are you collecting any donations for your research?

3.  - Do you honestly believe you get 85W constant output with only 5W input?  If so, then I suggest you to try to use the apparently 85W output to boil some water.  Calorimetric tests are easy to setup, and give reliable results.  Electric instruments may be confused by pulsed power and/or by stray electromagnetic fields.
4.  - How much water your device is able to boil, and how fast?

If the answer at question 4. is promising, I'll promise to take your device seriously, read what you wrote on github, try to reproduce the device, and review the theory together.

I have no credentials nor degrees, but I am transdisciplinary which has allowed me to move through countless domains including siloed ones and make connections that have never been made before. Whether this helps or more likely hurts my "credibility" doesn't really matter to me. My focus is on those that can see and think outside of the institutional dogma designed to keep you accepting and never questioning.

This is a common misunderstanding (conceit?) seen among those who have never been through the rigors of higher education.

When you study to a high level, you are not taught, you learn. Far from "accepting institutional dogma", you study, you investigate, you research, and you ask questions to satisfy your understanding.

Do this for long enough, and you find there are increasingly few doors to open into areas you have not already looked into.

The chance of an uneducated person stumbling onto something new that is not already well understood is approximately zero.

The reason I deleted that was because I can already see where this entire post was going and there's no point in adding anymore for people to immediately dismiss. Kind of weird how everyone wants evidence, is then provided with said evidence, then simply dismisses the evidence with no evidence of their own. Just blatant rejection. The irony is real. But again, this post isn't for those people and I honestly don't want to converse with them anyways which is why I'm choosing who I reply to that is worth actually replying to. Even though I still have wasted time on others. You're asking good questions though. Thank you for that.

2. No. I'm self-funded and quite frankly don't want or need money from anyone, nor will I ask. I have the time and the resources to do this work.
3. This verbiage is honestly irritating. I don't "believe" anything. I've built a novel inverter using my own framework that does not use conventional conduction to produce a pure 60Hz AC using capacitors as a reservoir instead of batteries. There is no inverter in existence that can handle 1kV (it can actually safely run 1.5kV), can handle upwards of 20kW - 40kW (depending on how high I run the voltage) switches at 100kHz (I've switched up to 300kHz), and generates no real thermal output due to the high voltage, low current input power from the cap. I developed this, I built, it works. There is no "believe". Look at the pictures in the repo. I'm currently about to send a new 3kV-4.5kV/60kW/500kHz-1MHz H-Bridge SPWM Inverter design into fab. Yes, I've done countless experiments, have run countless loads, and have mounds of empirical data to back it. Done beating this dead horse.
4. I've never boiled water. I've only run loads like laptop chargers, battery chargers, and a 300W NST. But I can hookup a induction cooker, boil water, and take a picture just for you.

I have made it clear in the README.md on the very first page you see and even in the post itself on what it is that I'm sharing and what it is that I'm not. My schematics are proprietary, PCB designs, inventions and other IP belong to me and me alone. Given the response to this post is all the more reason its staying that way. To be frank, I genuinely don't care what you like. This isn't a catering service. I'm not here to "convince" you or anyone else. It's my own independent research, findings, framework, and inventions from it that I'm being gracious enough to release openly in the first place. I'm not asking for anything. Read it or don't.

So apparently there is some magic in an air core transformer, which I do not believe for a second. So much wordiness but no clear explanation of the details that matter (usual path for these things).

Refers out to spice but doesnt show the schematic from that.

You are underthinking this. There are inverters in existence that can handle up to 800 kV at loads up to 3 GW. And at every tier from this down to a basic home battery power bank.

It really has been rather boring in here for a while.

Unfortunately, referring out to an external website for schematics and data seems like a data-mining ploy.

That said, I will impart some practical knowledge concerning some of your electronic components without focusing how it works or what your project does.

For instance, you mentioned bifilar coils.

Have you even measured the dissipation factor of polyimide, or poly amide imide?

Those are the two types of magnet wire insulation that are the best for HV and HT inductors.

Polyimide is the best, but poly amide imide is reasonable cost to performance.

The dissipation factor of both have an order of magnitude worse than some of the best film capacitors now (0.0015 vs 0.0004).

If you are not using either of those two, it's worse.

You also talking about using air core inductors.

The size of an air core inductor and to the amount of wire is mind bending if you want reasonable, like >300 Q at like <10khz with about 100mH, which Im getting with section wound MPP cores.

The only way to use air coil inductors for the same reasonable Q without the size of the inductor and/or amount of copper is either higher frequency (more switching and ac loses) or LN2 (loses from producing it but somewhere in space where the sun does not shine might work) due to copper losing about 80-90% resistivity at LN2 temps.

I also didn't see in your post a load measurement.

No resistance data but that could be in your link.

Again, (seems legit) I'm not going to click on a data-mining link.

So, you're not the only one that has spent a lot time and money on an open source project.

It's best to try to stay scientific, and to accommodate known principles because you will need to defend your thesis one day if you publish.

That means knowing the terms, understanding the concepts, and using the equations that very smart people have published, defended, and had everyone in the scientific community conferred to be correct after many years of verification using the same experiments.

If you want "validation", my advice is to you is to use grok to bounce your ideas, data, and results as you seem to want this to be open source anyway.

Lastly, you talk about charging slow and "dumping" fast.

Over time the energy in = energy out.

Anything worth while needs to be stead state.

The only loophole in the conservation of energy is that time is not conserved.

The rate of time naturally changes even on earth, measured within a foot of elevation.

Anyways, my take is that you are focusing on bifilar coils too much because Tesla used them.

Tesla was focused on rotating magnetic fields at the end of his career.

Ian B's point is crucial. All these loony overunity/free energy nutjobs think that science education involves swallowing accepted dogma without question and nothing could be further from the truth. In a practical lab one is required to fully test the underlying theory and experience the results first hand. Everyday ambitious scientists look for loopholes/exemptions from standard theory in the hope of making a name for themselves. When a person has never experienced scientific education they are in no position to critique it- unfortunately many assume it is similar to learning a language.

The chance of an uneducated person stumbling onto something new that is not already well understood is approximately zero.

In fact, it´s the crucial quality of real science to doubt things, look for discrepancies and explain things. You are not suppressed if you find something that contradicts "dogma", you are celebrated.

But you have to convince your colleagues that your findings are valid. There may have been cases like quasicrystals where "lone geniuses" couldn't convince the scientific society from the start, but in the end even that topic produced a nobel price of chemistry.

But if someone wants to fight fundamental laws like thermodynamics, he more or less fights *anything* that modern science has created. If you doubt these things, you don't need to argue with anything related to engineering or physics, your point of view claims it is all wrong. Then you´re really better off in any esoteric community, but not here.

For those like me, who had to search online WTF is the displacement current  ;D, found this MIT lecture note, which was an interesting read for me, so I'll let the link here, just for the docs:

This MIT pdf lecture, together with the other pdf (the Tesla's patent) were very interesting/rewarding reads for me.  Just to make clear, these pdf files are mainstream science, nothing controversial.

My point is, any topic can lead to interesting new reads, even when the main idea seems impossible.  But anyways, if you disagree, then try to dismantle the idea, not the author.  Or, if you don't have the time to disprove something, just say you think it won't work because it contradicts whatever.

Yes I have opened your GitHub link, but I'm not gonna read it, I don't have that much time. What I would like to see is a clear and full electrical schematic (graphical with resistor, transistor symbols and whatever else you have there). You can add notes pointing to schematic nodes documenting what you measured there - voltages, currents, scope screenshots. Your GitHub is full of text, your post is also extremely long, but no schematics. We like schematics here.

I have made it clear in the README.md on the very first page you see and even in the post itself on what it is that I'm sharing and what it is that I'm not. My schematics are proprietary, PCB designs, inventions and other IP belong to me and me alone. Given the response to this post is all the more reason its staying that way. To be frank, I genuinely don't care what you like. This isn't a catering service. I'm not here to "convince" you or anyone else. It's my own independent research, findings, framework, and inventions from it that I'm being gracious enough to release openly in the first place. I'm not asking for anything. Read it or don't.

I was looking at the Tesla patent about the bifilar coil, pretty creative arrangement of the coil turns.  Overall, it lowers the self-resonant frequency of the coil (when compared with a simple/monofilar spiral coil), which is pretty cool!  :-+

No George, it's not cool, it's a very good way to make a poor inductor into a very crappy inductor, what use is it outside the addled minds of Tesla loving, pigeon molesting, deluded morons? Why would you want to reduce the SRF like that? You would spend the rest of your life trying to hit the resonance that you were aiming for.

And what a way to tank the Q of your tank!
