Looking for advice on PAL/GAL programmer

I'm interested in using some surplus PALs/GALs I have. So, I'm looking for a programmer that can handle a variety of PAL/GAL/CPLD devices.
I'd want one that has a USB interface and works with Windows 10.
I'd welcome all suggestions.

TL866 II+ has quite an extensive list of supported devices, including many GALs (which also includes the modern and still in production Atmel ATFxxVxx parts).
You would need to check the list for PAL and CPLD support.

I bought one of those super low cost 866 programmers to try out. In some cases I've had to resort to selecting the wrong part to get it to program. In many cases it doesn't support the parts I use. I think the first part I tried was a 22V10 and ran into problems. No support for the old Altera and Xilinx serial proms. Same for the Atmel. Was going to use it to read an old 4-bit PROM out of a DMM I was working on, again, no support.
Someone posted about a mid grade programmer that looked pretty decent.
