egl_x11 gl error: cannot create EGL window surface
vlc v3.0.12.1 doesn't show anything, it simply exits with this error../configure --disable-qt --disable-lua && make
and it just worked. X11 and fbdev support is included by default. If you don't even want X, then add `--without-x`.
