;D use some Nasa Stuff to prevent it from scratching you:
Oh, that's cruel! Cats need their claws, to defend themselves, climb, scratch itches, and other catty things. I can't imagine taking that away from them. Mine are outdoors mostly (open catdoor policy here) with a big back yard, trees, etc.

The one who drew blood is normally the most gentle and affectionate. But she's jumpy, and also a bit put out because the new young cat is taking some of her cuddles and treats. Plus, the real damage was two bites, not from claws.

Result: a full fang pusy pussy puncture.   Groan.  Anyway it's almost better now. Thank you antibiotics.

She just panicked when I grabbed her. Won't happen again.

May I offer a bit of advice. Next time, take a deep breath and hiss as loud as you can. Not with your vocal chords, but by expelling air through the gaps in your teeth. I have never known this to fail to break up a cat fight.

In the cat world a hiss is, obviously, a warning. Somewhere in that furry little brain is a circuit hardwired to say the opposition is as big as its hiss, and if you hear a hiss that is too big it is time to skedaddle. It stands to reason that an adult male human can deliver a hiss that says "Tiger! Bloody dirty great tiger!". Cue cats scattering. Just don't be in the way when it happens, those rear claws can do mucho damage as they are used to get purchase in the escape attempt.

They don't seem to take any offence at it. I've delivered some serious hissings and two minutes later had the hissee rubbing around my ankles.
Anybody got a syringe I can use to squeeze the magic smoke back into this?

In the second one it looks like the mouse is telling Benny a joke and he's just getting to the punchline.

Aggression of rats or mice towards cats is a sign of T. gondii infection, which gets passed to the cat.

Not necessarily - mice also fight off cats when the nest is nearby filled with offspring . And Benny is fine . . .

T. Gondii infections go unnoticed, bar for some occasional changes in habits.

Poor cat. That's why I do not allow cats in the lab/workshop. It's already a dangerous place for those who know what they're doing. Even more so for those who don't.

Poor cat indeed.  It's plainly obvious that he suffers horribly living here.  ;)

At 0:14 and again at 0:34 he's asking your permission to stay as he's enjoying the exploration. At 0:50 he's like, "3444A! 3442A! So many 3440 modules, so little time!"

I felt for the cat.
