Thanks for letting me know It did take a bit longer than I originally thought for me to complete the shopping and I hope she didn't mind. It wasn't something I was familiar with and the shop was in an area I don't frequently go to. I'm glad it all worked out fine. Will be happy to help again if she needs anything else in the future.

I got mine two days ago, they have 2 each of 3mm, 5mm, and 7mm cups if I recall correctly, one of the large ones look a bit eaten up  but I have no use for such a large cup.

The 3mm works fine for TQFPs and QFNs didn't try the 5mm one yet.
I was hoping the will handle 0805 caps but I have tweezers for those unless I can find a 1mm diameter cup.

Btw it works fine and doesn't require too much pressure, since you pretty much have to be holding it and let go to suck the part and just press a little to release it.

It doesn't hold it for a long time but it's not like it looses vacuum so fast that you have to rush.

Got my Ut139C today. It took less than a week from the time I ordered for it to be delivered to me in Seattle. The packaging did its job. It's nice that the retail box is good and stout. It doesn't look like the shipping gorillas tried to crush it, but it could clearly protect the instrument from some abuse in shipping.

Just a quick note to say a big thank to Franky: received my BM257 today (plus some other misc stuff like clips, cables, etc) and I really like it 
Packaging was simple but effective.
If there are other Italian buyers on the forum this is what you can expect in terms of shipping times using standard shipping (only 3,90$ more for the whole package!!!):

Yes, I am aware of that. But until a couple of months ago even the direct link to my eBay store did not work. People in Germany/Austria/Switzerland could not see anything in my store, at all. I believe my items will only appear in the German search result when I achieve the top rated status in your market, which is unlikely to happen any time soon now

I bought the Yihua 995D+ soldering station from Franky.

The blue display is very nice. The soldering iron itself is quite lightweight and handy, compared to my old one and uses the standard Hakko tips. The heat-up time is fast. There is also a sleep mode and three memory buttons. The small footprint also saves some space on a small bench.

The price and delivery was very good, and I also got some extra soldering tips.
His customer support is excellent too. I had a fault after some weeks and he sent me a replacement instantly! This high level of customer support is extraordinary.

Convenience. It's what I have laying around and use for most of my other test leads. The ebay listing states that you can use down to 13 awg btw.

I'm sure there is an AWG13 cable with isolation thin enough to fit it to the hook and there's also a way to make it stick. Nonetheless it's unwise to operate at values with the words "up to" in front.

I think the best option would be to use thinner wire such as the 16AWG ones in my shop, which is what's being used in most of the pre-assembled leads such as these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/20cm-Silicone-Leads-with-2mm-Gold-Plated-Sockets-and-Mini-Grabber-Hooks-Pair-/171085144334

It is going to be very tricky to solder 13 or 14AWG on these and you probably have to bend the solder joint at the correct angle to make it work. I have now modified the description of the item to remove the mention of 13AWG completely and added "16AWG recommended"). My apologies for the somewhat misleading description before. I can send you some 16AWG wires for free to make up for that. Let me know.
