http://mytektronixscope.com/Unfortunately looks like you can only enter if you already have a tek scope... Must see if I can think of something interesting to do on my old 2465A...
Pity Dave's sent back the dead Agilent 3000 - would have been fun to send a vid of using a tek scope to debug a dead Agilent...

HA! Yes, maybe you could film fixing it with a Tek547.
This definetly wins first prize.

BUMP!
Still in 4th place. Those top 2 must have bigger audiences than the EEVblog!

I think one of them just might have other "attributes" providing an edge :p

You mean knowledge of anonymouse.com
Oh, the boobs, yeah, must be that
Dave.
I got two emails so far from Lonela, where she asks for me to vote for her (RS232 for Dummies…and stop button feature – by Ionela). I dont know where did she got my e-mail.
apart from Dave's video (which deal with internal behaviour of the scope/probe) i also would like to highlight these, as they are educative, esp for basic theory stuff... (but i still encourage our Dave to be voted):
1) Analysis of Frequency Response of Filters using Sweep Signal - by Gautam
2) Automated Bode Plots - by NathanW-OC
but maybe thats just my current interest that i would like to implement. only basic stuffs
I'm still behind and struggling to get a top 3 finish!

I had the idea of using a friend (female
) of mine with an incredible body.
The project would be a
Tek scope ECG. The scenario was like this...
My friend on her
Elliptical trainer and the electrode pads on her chest.
Something like the picture bellow.
Unfortunately I couldn't find a Tek scope!
i hope dave can win on this. so another addition of Tek Scope in eevblog lab, and hopefully a review for us. its not how good his video is, but what possibility dave and his blog can do to us (and already did). and he doesnt need to get a chick to get involved in his video. thats another area.
Dave, your video isn't the best, but the video in the lead is RUBBISH!!
Where has this Ionela managed to muster 5,000 odd voted from? Incredible!

Given my 8000+ EEVblog audience, and others I know who have also entered that have lesser numbers of followers and proportionately matching lower votes, based on that trend I figure Ionela must have at least 20,000 loyal followers!, or...
Dave.
Third mail from Ionela!
It says at the bottom that i am "a registered user of Your Electronics Open Source", which is not true. I still dont known where did she got my email.
P.S. I voted for you Dave at least 50 times so far.
after this RS232 fallacy, then what? she get the Tek home and "bye-bye to you", thats what! they got the marketing 101 degree i think. spammer!
ps: looking at the picture and pose above, i'll prefer the bottom half of it better
and RS232 for who? voters?
Even spamming people, I find it hard to believe she (and others) can get the consistent daily votes they have been getting.
I've got 8000 loyal viewers and got the numbers I would have expected, but still can't get half their votes!
Thanks Slobodan!
Dave.
Maybe the degree she is studying for is in Psychology,& the premise of her dissertation is that geeks can be influenced easily by a pretty face!

or she is a computer hacker geek, who sent bots to vote for her

My understanding is there is a company behind this "Open Source" blog, EMC Elettronica SRL. Maybe she just grabbed the company's mailing list for the spam. And maybe the company bought leads which were in fact dirty lists, which is what happens if you buy leads, especially cheap e-mail lists.
