Yeah, we don't want you get bored from this typing printing and shipping envelopes.
We all want you frizzy and funky for the next mailbag, teardown, ff, minishot video or whatever.
Hell If Dave needs some help organising postage he can send a whole lot of stuff to me and I'll help stuff envelopes.

939% with 37 hours to go, shit dave you are going to be stuffing envelopes until xmas.
Good thing we already have many dodgy campaigns with wonderful excuses to use incase of a late delivery... not that Dave would ever do such a thing.
One thing to take from the playbook of mu thermal:
"Oh I'm tweaking the font on my label maker to get the absolutely best clarity to make sure your mail will be delivered in time to right address, just tell us your thoughts about this, maybe we could start a poll on which font to use."
(note: this joke makes fun of mu thermal and is by no means ment to offend Dave)

Holy crap, yeah, it might just break 1000% after all...
Is there no upper cap on this?
I've been told it's official, the campaign is the most supported in Pozible history!
All for a bloody PCB ruler!
"if you build it, they will come"
947% now! Come on people, let's break 1000%!
The eevblog version of the k-tel chop-o-matic. Crazy, but good for you Dave, hopefully you will have some other pcb hits to help you out over the years.

LOL. Ponycon got funded a few days ago. If my little pony can get cash, the ruler should be a shoe in.
Hey, Dave. I know there are a lot of rulers and I know you haven't all day. If there are way too many rulers to get out by the estimated time frame, no worries. I know a bit nerdy/geeky, but if on my order you're still able to autograph both (you can match it up to my credentials here), I'd be happy to wait longer if necessary. That way you can still get to all those other envelopes. I'll be busy in the meantime with my calculus class.
Keep taking them apart! (:

I would also like mine (5 pcs) autographed, or maybe just one which I will not use. There should have been an option on the project page.
Autographed....? Do you two have any idea how much work this already is going to be? And how much an additional, non-automated step derails an automated process, which I assume he will be doing to some extent?
Maybe Dave could work with one of the companies that batch manufactures PCBs, so that they manufacture the circuit boards and ship them directly to the project supporters. That way Dave doesn't have to be stuffing envelopes for forever.
The only hope in hell of getting an autographed ruler would be to have the signature printed on them as part of the silkscreen. If one person asks for a favour... well one leads to another, and another, and another... This very Pozible campaign demonstrates exactly that. A few people asked Dave for the chance to buy a ruler or two so he started the campaign, now it has turned in to a bit of a monster.
I'm happy to wait for my rulers (yes, I am part of the monster) if things turn out to be unmanagable in the timeframe originally provided.
P.S. The next AmpHour should be interesting...
Dave's ruler empire! I can't wait to get mine, I can tell already it's going to be insanely helpful! When the 1 foot version comes out I will get it too hehe
. (Only A$22 from 1000%!)

You can't get these rulers batch made (i.e. as part of a snap out panel), they need to be fully routed to get the smooth edges.

The idea would not be to use them for batching to reduce the price, just to see if you could get them to manufacture the boards(without batching), give them a list of addresses, and have them deal with shipping out the boards. I'd imagine it would not be terribly hard for them because a lot of them already have a system set where they send 3-5 boards to many different people.
But, you definitely know more about this than I do.
I imagine the scene when he told the missus (he did tell the missus, didn't he?):
Honey?
Yes, darling?
Do we have any plans for Christmas vacation?
Well, not really. But what about that Caribbean cruise we though about?
Ah, I was more thinking about stuffing envelopes.
*BAM*
Daveeeeeeeeeeee give them to a shipping companyyyyyyyy
Launch a related new project just to fund the envelope stuffing & sending ?
