...I was so preoccupied with whether or not I could, I didn’t stop to think if I should...
Hmm, another version might be, it's the SOA curve, but there's a stabby boi peeking out of the 2nd breakdown slope.

You forgot the N...the meme is ruined!
I guess that mostly makes sense, but doesn't the capacitor ruin it all?
With or without, you still have the full cable length returning to ground. All that changes is, the zeroes due to reflections inside the cable (it's a shorted stub) -- but these manifest in series with the ground-return impedance regardless.
I suppose the context of the meme template is not sarcastic, as the 'X' were actually destroyed, so it's maybe not the most appropriate use...

I was thinking along the lines of RF interference getting picked up by the long (non-zero-impedence) ground wire. Might not be valid?
The original was in regard to transmitters, so self-interference would be the primary concern, but that will happen to, yup.

Why do engineering things always break outside of office hours?

No...No..All my creations pretty much break around the clock.
The longer I stare at it, the worse it looks ...

Poor Joy. What did she ever do to him?
Reminds me of the Bob Monkhouse line: "When I was young people laughed at me when I said that I wanted to be a comedian when I grew up. They're not laughing now!"
Today I learned that Texas Instruments became the first major manufacturer to enter the market of counterfeit TL072 opamps with some
CMOS product of theirs.
That's a very appreciated improvement over the usual crop of relabeled LM358 from AliBay, but what could possibly go wrong?
Not a meme, but a very funny ad from the 1980s...
Dang, Forrest Gump invested in the wrong fruit company!

Given the current state of American software industry, I would say this didn't age well
