One glaringly obvious problem with a couple people calling my project a scam is that it is not consistent with the overwhelming position of your own party of jeering haters.  You cannot simultaneously hold the position that I have hubris and over confidence and delusions of grandeur and dunning kreuger and unrealistic expectation to achieve my goal then turn around and say my goal is not to build a robot and I have no delusions of grandeur and I have no hubris and I have no confidence and I have no delusions because I have no expectations of building the robot nor even intentions to do so because my entire aim is just to scam everybody.  These two positions cannot both be true.  And yet you try to claim both failing to even see they are incompatible.   :palm:

I generally don't even respond to guys like George saying the scam angle because I am not aware of any way I can prove what my intentions are to someone who comes out and claims my intentions are not what I claim they are.  How can I prove an intention?  It's not possible.  Well other than to just demonstrate my intentions are genuinely to build the robot by putting in hard effort and lots of hours into the project over the years.  And that I have done.  If someone can toss out all of that evidence of earnestness to acheive the goal dismissively, then who can persuade them otherwise?  They are being completely unreasonable.  I calculated that I'd be making under 10% of one penny per hour for thousands of hours of work if the whole point was just to profit on a scam that would be the dumbest scam ever.  Then we have people saying Elon's robot is just a gimmick/scam when it literally can walk and talk and do chores already.  If people are that committed to falsely accusing others, they are beyond the point of reasoning with.  They are just deluding themselves out of blind hatred of the guy.  So these types of back and forths are fairly pointless IMO.  I only engaged this time to bring out the obvious contradiction you fail to see and the reason why I generally ignore these types of foolish false accusations.

I have a significant 50-60+ people who have come out and said that they thought my robot project and skills and knowledge level in the relevant fields etc were all elite, world class, and bound for success in their view.

Simple logical fallacy there ^^^ which proves exactly nothing. Argumentum ad populum. The number of people that believe something is true does not in and of itself make it true
I didn't say it did.  I said it to refute the claim that "the whole world is saying you are going to fail" when that's not true.

Well, there are about 8.2 billion people in the world, so if 60 people support your claim, that's a very small percentage:
Only 0.0000007% of the world thinks that your "robot project and skills and knowledge level in the relevant fields etc are all elite, world class, and bound for success."

Y'know, those two positions you described aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.

Meaning that someone (like, say, you) could be both delusional, hubristic, suffering from Dunning-Kruger AND a scammer. Possibly under the mistaken belief that you are what you claim you are, the elite, supremely gifted robot designer, but nevertheless perpetrating scams on others.

You wouldn't even have to be aware that what you're doing is a scam; as the well-known concept goes, ignorance of the law is no excuse.

BTW, speaking of scams, I watched this video
that was posted by @joeqsmith (in this post here (# 1192!)) where you talk about "a thousand PCs" and some way of making money off them that you never describe in the video. I'm curious: what is it that you're doing there that lets you make $1, $2, whatever a month from all those computers? You don't have to reveal all your proprietary secrets, just explain in general terms how that works.

Besides, we know who those people are: they're thems that comments on YouTube videos. And though I hate to generalize*, we know what the average intelligence of those people is.

* I lied; I don't hate to generalize at all.

True enough, but that being said, I'm always open-minded. In all honesty artbyrobot, what exactly did 50 or 60 people see that gave them the opinion -

I've been following you now in two threads here, and I've spent way too much of my own time reviewing your videos on YT. What is it I'm missing? What video shows any elite and world class work? All I've ever seen is average to below average hobbyist work, no software that was operating and being tested, and no robotic demos of even the smallest part of a robotic system except for a motor that you ran for a bit, which didn't do anything but rotate.

If you can point me to anything at all that reveal your elite skills, I'll review it.
I told my friends I could teach them to be funny, but they all just laughed at me.

If I put out videos on my youtube channel that is meant to be information sharing and telling my story with a DIY bent, how is that "searching for next mark".  What is your definition of searching for a mark?  In my understanding, that means searching for someone to scam or steal from.

What I wrote:
Quote
I'm amazed of how many fishing nets they have out searching for the next mark.

meaning the number of forums you have posted to trying to dumb up funding.  Scam meaning you are asking for funds for something you will never get beyond a sock, glue, scissors, tacks and string.   Same as panhandling.  A bit more elaborate than the last guy looking for funds to build their warp drive or Dave's perpetual motion guy.  To me, same old same old.   If you had anything to show beyond some of the worse welds I have ever seen and what appears to be something a child would make in grade school, I may see it different.   So, I continue to assume a scam and no actual fed ID, no businesses.  Just more layers to the scam life.

This is illogical.  When he said the whole world believes you will fail at this project, the obvious implication literally everyone knew was that everyone on social media or forums has said this.  He did not mean literally everyone on earth has weighed in on this as you suppose.  And I refuted his claim with my estimate that 40-60+ people have expressed belief I will succeed at my goals in this project.  So to get a percentage of the whole, you'd have to estimate the percentage of forum and social media posters, not a percentage of the entire earth population including infants and people who are in comas and every other member of the population like you did here for no reason

Y'know, those two positions you described aren't necessarily mutually exclusive....

under the mistaken belief that you are what you claim you are, the elite, supremely gifted robot designer, but nevertheless perpetrating scams on others...

I disagree.  First of all, it would be a scam, not scams.  The scam would be pretending to be what I claim to be and pretending to do what I claim I'm doing while knowingly not being that or doing that in earnest.  The motive behind the scam would be to gain funding only to later disappear without delivering.  If I am in earnest deluding myself but trying to do this project in earnest, then it's not a scam.  It is a person who is a pipe dreamer bound for failure but refusing to accept the truth and cleaving to the pipe dream.  Nothing about that is a scam.  Even if I do get some degree of funding (which in this case amounts to 1 penny every 10 hours of hard work) that still is not a scam.  A scam necessarily involves deceit of the victim.  There is no deception here.  UNLESS I am deceiving myself by refusing to accept the futility of my goal or my lack of skills or knowledge to achieve it.  Which in itself is not a scam.  It would be just a misjudgment or inaccurate self assessment.  The victim would be myself, wasting my time.  The patron of my art would not be getting scammed.  No ill will or deceit was directed at the patron.  Only promises made in earnest and a strong attempt to fulfill them however unrealistic they were.  That's not a scam if it were to fail.  That's a creator failing epicly which the patron knew could happen but they threw in their support anyways crossing their fingers knowing its a long shot.  The only way that scams them is if I deliberately sought their patronage knowing I cannot and will not deliver on my goals and did so maliciously out of greed.  And if that is the case, it would be a scam but it would also mean I am being "realistic" and do not have dunning kreuger or self delusion or any of it.  It would make me no different than all the non-dreamers skeptics in here and the whole thing would just be a ploy.  But we've already covered that this is irrational to suppose because it would be the worst scam attempt ever from a profit perspective.  At 1 penny every 10 hours of work, that does not justify the repercussions of doing a scam, the hit to reputation a scam would involve, the potential legal problems, the guilty conscience, potential for retribution from the patron who felt defrauded, etc.  No, that would not make any logical sense at all.  Not to mention the thousands of dollars I have put into the project itself.  Out of pocket.  If that is factored in, I'd be at negative dollars per hour rather than 1 penny every 10 hours of work or w/e.  This just makes zero sense.

Now if the argument being made here is that one cannot have any path for a patron to send a donation to a research project unless said project is a 100% guarantee of bringing a successful result or the person doing the project is massively decorated in the related fields with degrees abounding, I disagree.  To be an innovator in some field does not require extensive degrees and decorations in said field.  All it requires is perspiration, commitment, dedication, creative problem solving skills, and lots of time investment over a long timeframe.  All of which I have demonstrated and will continue to demonstrate in spades.  So then there is nothing wrong with leaving that door open to a future patron or w/e.  The main service of being considerate on my end would be not to pressure anybody following the project to send support financially nor badger them about patronage desired (as I've seen many creators do).  I try to be mindful of this.

But that said, I view there being NOTHING at all wrong with having a patreon account and linking to it in videos or w/e if you are a youtuber, educator, diyer, innovator, etc.  If you are great at your craft, people will support it to keep it going.  If you suck, you won't get much patronage and passion has to be your driver.  I fall into the latter camp as far as public perception mainly because of my supposed lack of progress over a long timeframe.  But I am sure many would agree that other things in life taking up ones time from a hobby is a valid excuse for lack of progress and also doesn't rule out there being future seasons where freetime can abound more than past seasons.  So nothing is set in stone on that front.  I wonder would the haters drop the scam accusations if I dropped the donate link off my website or my youtube videos?  I see no need for that.  Heck, even if I do fail in the end, my designs and attempts being carefully published in tedious detail still provides value which may rule out these approaches for future roboticists, may entertain haters, or may give ideas for genuinely useful solutions even if my implementation was lacking, perhaps another roboticist can implement the general ideas in their projects but have better execution.  So no matter how you look at it, I'm providing value somehow as long as I try my best and publish my findings.  And that is all WORST case scenario.  Best case, I'm doing ground breaking stuff and it is epic as I claim and it will advance the field and it will yield success on a massive scale and will be widely emulated in the future by many roboticists going forward.  That is what I think.  But whether worst or best case, there is nothing unethical going on about having donate links.  So I don't even see a potential scam angle there at all.  I find that accusation very illogical and poorly thought out.  Bordering on completely absurd and mindless really.

ignorance of the law is no excuse.

That example holds no relevance here.  To attempt a project that is out of one's wheelhouse and believe despite the odds that one can achieve said goals, however unrealistic others may find them, is not illegal.  AT BEST it is just delusional and unrealistic, but it is not immoral nor illegal in ANY way whatsoever.  On the contrary, it should be viewed as perhaps a bit sad, perhaps a little inspiring, perhaps a bit comedic, perhaps a bit endearing, etc.  Like a baby bird violently flapping its featherless wings believing it can fly but clearly not having a chance to do so, it can be cute, childlike, and innocent.  Should evoke a smile and maybe a bit of pity.  But to call that bird a scammer is illogical.

what is it that you're doing there that lets you make $1, $2, whatever a month from all those computers? You don't have to reveal all your proprietary secrets, just explain in general terms how that works

It was a botnet of AI software running independently on many computers at many hosting locations distributed geographically that all played videogames using AI that I crafted from scratch myself.  The idea is they gain digital value in the game through botting which can then be converted to cash by selling ingame assets for real money.  This is a common practice done worldwide by young people.  As I've stated before, my incredible advances in AI that I achieved in this pursuit I decided would be better suited to real life robotics so that I can create embodied intelligence that brings more real world utility rather than limiting it all to virtual world productivity that has to be kept more or less in stealth.  The advantage here is more potential utility to the AI and the ability to share the leaps of progress achieved with the world to celebrate together rather than having to keep it all secretive which was annoying.  When you achieve something great you want to shout it from the rooftops and I wasn't able to because of the nature of the botting field.

Now why are you saying about this video: "speaking of scams"?  There is nothing scam related baked into video game botting as a field necessarily.  You buy a game with real money so the devs get paid, you bot the game you paid for, you sell the ingame assets for real money, and you make decent money if you are elite at this.  The customer gets what they paid for.  Everyone is getting what they paid for here and nobody is getting scammed.  I was an ethical botter.  A considerate botter.  A botter that held the community and game devs in consideration and high regard the entire time.  Yet you infer that I was scamming people.  That's a false accusation.  Do you enjoy false accusing people?

what exactly did 50 or 60 people see that gave them the opinion -

They may or may not have been laymen- actually some were not laymen at all.  Some were decorated roboticists that spoke well of myself and my project and said they think I will achieve it.  Their intelligence levels of these 50-60+ vary I'm sure.  It all comes down to them thinking my ideas and strategies make sense.  Or even them just betting on me as an individual.  For example, they could think I'm going about things the wrong way, but see my passion and enthusiasm and intelligence and confidently decide that I will figure out these issues with time and correct them and course correct and find success in the end by that means.  So then it would be potential based in that case rather than based on current progression or approaches.  There can be a wide variety of reasons like this that they believed I will succeed.  There is not just one reason.  You can go hunting for all the very positive votes of confidence if you like by perusing all youtube video comments on any robot project related videos, all social media posts for all robot related social media accounts I have, and all forums where I've posted my project, reading those comments.  And collect every positive one and can then even go ask each positive commenter who voted confidence in my project what motivated their vote of confidence.  I didn't ask usually.  Also I tend to fixate more on the negative commenters as is a typical tendency.  Those tend to stand out more to creators.  They can cripple some creators and even make them cry or give up.  But I am not built that way.

You're the one who's been using the phrase, "world class"... Well, its not "world class" if you only have 60 supporters out of 8.2 BILLION people. As a comparison, flat Earthers have tens of thousands of believers around the globe, yet you only have 60 or so.

Okay so this comment infers that the reason I posted my videogame botting journey and approach was to shill an online course or put up a paywall to find out more.  This inference is a false one.  I have never put a paywall up to sharing my information publicly of what I learn or come up with in the many fields of interest I have published on.  So this is a false accusation once again.  Show me where I have ever done this.  Show me where I have ever asked people to pay me to find out more and only after payment will I spill the beans.  I have NEVER done this.  It goes against my entire approach.  In fact, it was my deep frustration at the LACK of transparency and tutorials or documentation behind Boston Dynamics robots and various university and chinese robots and lack of youtube channels covering how to build that stuff in depth that caused me to decide to make my robot and document everything publicly to help others in their journey to build robots and be very open source about it.  And I have done just that.  So the idea of making anyone pay to see how it's done is a turn off to me.  I feel the very opposite way about it.  I understand the need for companies to protect their secret sauce, but I also think SOMEONE has to spill the beans so others aren't just unable to progress with any help due to lack of any open source help.  Now since those days, many have filled this knowledge gap like therobotstudio youtube channel and James Bruton and Will Cogley to name a few.  That was not around when I began my journey though.  And despite them offering alot of help (and many other creators too), I still desire to do my part to fill in even more helpful information freely.  I received alot of help from other youtubers to get to where I am and received it for free and I intend to give back for free as my way of showing my appreciation.

Scam meaning you are asking for funds for something you will never get beyond a sock

Show me where I have solicited funding for my project.  I haven't.  Not a single forum I have posted in have I done this.  And if you are suggesting that having a patreon link on youtube videos is the same thing, I find that ridiculous.  Countless, literally the VAST majority of all youtube channels have this link.  It is pretty much ubiquitous.  So for me to be singled out on this is completely unfair IMO.

You have given ZERO benefit of the doubt in this assessment of my motives.  I have told people I am doing just fine financially and don't need help to buy parts for the robot which is evidence in my favor.  I have also not over-exaggerated the project costs.  I estimated 10-20k tops which is reasonable and which I have already paid most of out of pocket.

You have not considered that posting the project on many forums can be done to amp up engagement and actually get feedback.  Many forums are very dead.  I get usually like one comment every 6 months.  This forum is a hotspot of activity but this is not the case for 99% of the others.  I find this forum a valuable resource from that perspective and many others.

Did you know that in over 10 years of posting my projects on various forums I have never solicited a dime on a forum and have never gotten a dime from a forum member?  Think about that.  NEVER.  So that throws quite a bit of doubt on your theory - and that is all it is - a THEORY that you  CANNOT prove but I can massively throw shade at - even though it's impossible to disprove absolutely since it involves motives which cannot be known indisputably.

Look at my engagement on all of them.  I am friendly with everyone, answer all questions, and sometimes get advice which can be helpful.

I have already stated I enjoy talking about my project as it is a long term passion.  So it is nice to have that interaction.

I like to raise awareness of my project for the help it can give others.  I believe I'm doing big things with my project so I want to publish it widely this way.  To have it be celebrated and harvested from as a rich source of innovations and ideas for other's projects.

Why would there be a need to post in such a way that as few people as possible see it?  You act like that is the noble thing and wide publishing is the ugly and suspicious thing as a necessity.  What drives that conclusion?  Does that apply to ANY industry or thing being published EVER?  That if someone widely advertises their ideas or technical papers or goals or project updates that they must be malicious in intent as a necessity?  There can be NO other valid interpretation of it?  Ridiculous.  Yet you go on like this is something you are certain of with zero evidence other than well you posted it many places I smell something fishy.

You also act like even if the primary driver were funding - and it is not - that seeking funding for scientific research is immoral.  It's not.  You will need to also say that anybody who has submitted lots of grant proposals seeking funding for their research is a scammer too then.  I see myself as no more or no less eligible for desiring funding than any other researcher or dreamer looking to advance any field of interest.  There is NOTHING immoral about that.  It is this type of research and funding of said research that has driven many technological developments we all enjoy today with many devices we take for granted all around us.  It is a noble system.  Even if I am not as decorated or degree holding as others, that does not mean I cannot be just as determined, earnest, or capable of success as far as potential.  The highly experienced and decorated applicant for funding would be probably more statistically likely to deliver on their goals, but that does not mean the inexperienced and less educated applicant has no chance at all or has no genuine incentives to persevere and succeed despite the odds.  Nothing about that would be necessarily immoral or corrupt in any way as you suggest.

The only possible way I can see a scam would be to somehow knowingly try to get money with no intention of delivering at all and I think I have already proven for years that is not the case.  For years I have stuck with my project and made significant headway.

And you not liking the speed of progression or approaches taken does not mean I am not going the best speed for the seasons of life I've been in that reflect my best effort given all extraneous factors.  It also does not mean I am not trying my best in earnest by any means.

You're the one who's been using the phrase, "world class"... Well, its not "world class" if you only have 60 supporters out of 8.2 BILLION people. As a comparison, flat Earthers have tens of thousands of believers around the globe, yet you only have 60 or so.

Here you twist what I clearly meant.  I never said that the reception on forums and social media of my project has been a world class response of total approval as you here falsely suppose.  I have always upheld that my project itself, the designs for it, the skill going into it and my own potential in the related fields is what is world class.  The reception of outside people seeing my work being majority skepticism and jeering has no bearing on my view of the world-classness of my project and skills or the world-classness of the successful robots I plan to produce.  It is just noise to me, born out of ignorance, jealousy, the need to belittle others due to one's own unhappiness, that type of stuff.  Typical bully stuff.  Not a big deal to me and not a strong indicator of anything.  It happens to all creators no matter what content they post.  Bullies/haters come with the territory of being a public figure.  Especially if you start to get popular or successful.  I expect it to increase over time actually.  The more successful I am and more my claims come true the more hate I'll get just like Elon Musk does for Optimus.  Go read reddit posts about that robot.  95% negative and the 5% positive get downvoted so much they stop displaying unless you click to expand it.  And yet that robot talks and walks and does useful stuff.  And looks pretty cool too.  It is a great robot.  So I expect much the same treatment and don't see it as any reflection of reality.

And here you twist what I clearly meant:
That a world class project would receive more attention and praise than only 60 people out of a possible 8.2 billion. Plus you wouldn't have to spam dozens of forums with duplicate posts trying to get attention. One or two would be enough.
News of a truly ground breaking project would spread like wildfire almost all on it's own. Ever heard the phrase, "It's going viral"? Not happening here.

Tesla's optimus bot has an equal proportion of hate to my own project and his bot is proven to be world class so your logic falls flat.  Also, unlike his, mine is only in early development which makes it far more likely to face skepticism.  So again your logic falls flat.  Also, the ambitiousness of my goal is repulsive to most considering its only one developer which also skews the odds out of my favor for a overall positive response which also causes your logic to fall flat. Also, we aren't getting 8.2 billion responses from which pool 60 were positive.  Where did you see that many people post on my threads?  Absurd.  We can only judge response proportions based on the I don't know 1200 perhaps all time unique posters across all my postings including twitch chat interactions.  And it's 60 positive responses out of all of those.  So 60 of 1200 - so that's like 5% positive which is near teslas Optimus bot reddit positive response ratio.  Guess my robot is as world class as Optimus then.

You also assume I would only use one or two forums if the response were large.  That is false.  That would mean I'm failing to reach people on other broadcasting mediums that could have also benefited from my project logs and learned from them and interacted with me on them.  One forum or two does not then capitalize on the full spectrum of promotional opportunities of my developments and breakthroughs for the benefit of all who read it in their own robotics journeys or interests.  Once again you assume the only reasonable goal should be to limit the number of places I post my project and have not stated ANY valid reason for that limitation whatsoever.

And note how you conveniently decided to ignore the comment I made about how silent lurking supporters may not speak up because they don't see the risk of themselves facing bullying to be worth it.

For example:  I am a big elon musk fanboy and I read the reddit robotics subreddit regularly.  I often times want to speak up in defense of the Tesla Optimus bot but don't see the point when I know any support will just be downvoted into oblivion.  And this coming from a guy who doesn't mind bullying directed my way.  So imagine a more timid or less bully-proof supporter?  They would be unwilling to post any vote of confidence in such a hostile environment of haters.  If all the haters were just quiet, the positive cheering fans would get loud quickly.  But this type of thing comes in tides I think.

In a movie I saw recently, a vote was called for and nobody stood up for a long time.  One brave lady stood up defiantly despite this initial hesitation and gradually everyone else stood up one by one until the whole room was standing.  Well if they all felt that way, given the facts, why the hesitation?  Why did one person have to embolden the others and as more and more gradually stood up it became easier to stand up and the people standing up became accelerated?  Because of people's fear of going against the crowd.  Because of people's lack of willingness to express an unpopular opinion.  Because of people fearing bullying and persecution.  Because of people's desire to be agreeable at all costs.  Because of lack of gumption and chutzpah.  And so also it is with this type of forum thread.  Anybody who is silently cheering and all in on my project, confident I'm on the right track and kicking butt will likely NOT post for the reasons stated here.  The forum is too much vibing in one direction for anybody who disagrees to stand up.  It's sad people behave this way.  It should not be the case.  I myself do not behave this way generally.  But even in my case, sometimes I just don't have the energy to bother posting on Optimus hate threads.  Plus I've been trying to improve my reddit comment karma score.  It is very low because I often post the unpopular opinion and get downvoted hard.  I was unable to post on some subreddit recently because I had a negative comment karma score.  I'm trying to get it to positive so I can post anywhere.  I'm choosing my battles but as a general rule I prefer to voice my opinion without bias or fear of social stigma.  We need more bravery like this in society and social media and forums.

Again you don't understand, but that seems to be the pattern here.

The forum is too much vibing in one direction for anybody who disagrees to stand up.

This forum is full of detail minded nerds with varying levels of expertise in a bunch of related technical fields.

If there were technical merit anywhere here people would happily speak up about it and slap people in the face with facts if needed.  After all technically correct is the best kind of correct.

That is demonstrated by the majority of this thread being people trying to correct your abysmal understanding of, well, everything.  It is fascinating that you firstly let that help go to waste and secondly actively deride the people delivering it.

On a forum with a normal demographic you would just be mocked and banned as a troll as this is all pretty ridiculous.  Or if the forum is comprised of 13-year-olds you may be highly praised as the project at least sounds pretty cool, they just aren't old enough to know its lack of feasibility.

banned as a troll

It seems you are confused as to the meaning of a troll.  So let me educate you.  Trolling is pretending to have a position you don't really have.  It's sole purpose is to get a rise out of people.  If my purpose here was to troll, I would not be practicing what I preach by spending many hundreds of hours researching and actually executing on the plans and claims made in this thread.  I would just speak on the project but not actually deliver at all.  This inference that I have not demonstrated any valid efforts toward delivering is then made in bad faith and the trolling accusation is clearly and obviously insincere and illogical.  Unless of course you don't even know what trolling is - which is seems you don't.  Sad really.

Yeah, my point exactly  8)

artbyrobot.com/blog --- 58 posts of progress and designs.  My youtube channel - 250 videos with progress and designs.  400-700+ hours of hands on development and massively more hours of research.  To say that is not delivering AT ALL is clearly absurd and illogical.  At worst you can say it was largely failed efforts, but was significant effort nonetheless and so I did deliver effort wise and attempts-wise.  But you pretend I didn't deliver ANYTHING no effort, no time, no progress.  Also, the countless hours of R&D and the trial and error process are NOT non-progress as you assume.  Every way you discover to not work right or that does not work as planned is a step forward toward finding the solution and so is very real progress.  And doing that trial and error, that scientific method IS delivering.  You don't get to just redefine what delivering is or what progress made in earnest is to "well if it's not done the way I would do it so far, then it is not being worked on at all" or "well if his approach seems unorthodox, it must be that he doesn't actually want to succeed".  That's all absurd.

And on the subject of trolling, like the false accusation of scamming, the trolling accusation is equally false and equally runs you into a logical contradiction.  You cannot say I'm only trolling IE not actually trying to build this robot at all, not actually believing I'm capable of it and not actually pursuing it in earnest while ALSO maintaining that I have Dunning Kreuger, am over-confident, am delusional, think I"m capable of more than I really am, etc.  The two are incompatible.

Now if the entire extent of the trolling accusation is me slightly exaggerating my view of my skill level or eliteness for comedic affect, I can concede to that in part.  I use words like elite and world class as direct opposition to you all saying its trash, garbage, absolute terrible etc.  You exaggerate your response in the negative direction so I exaggerate my self assessment some in the positive direction to balance it out more.  That can be a form of subtle trolling, I can agree to that.  But that is NOT the kind of trolling you are inferring when you say ban-worthy level trolling.  A subtle exaggeration is not trolling in that deserves a ban sense.  That is perfectly fine and respectful to do in this context.  The type of trolling you are inferring is literally the ENTIRE project is just aimed to anger people for my own amusement and I have zero interest in robotics or delivering on my goals and am not even trying to do so in earnest but only am here to post trash talk to trigger people.  That is repeatedly proven false by my actual updates and build logs showing real attempts at progress and making real advances even if those are largely testing hypothesis and documenting failures in search of the correct path.  Which IS PROGRESS that is REAL PROGRESS.  And documenting it, the successes and failures has VALUE.  So no, it is illogical to call this thread trolling and especially so when you also say I have Dunning Kreuger effect etc.  The two positions cannot coexist they are opposite positions.  You get to pick only one to be logically consistent in your criticisms.  And the fact you don't see this obvious fact...   :palm:

To say that is not delivering AT ALL is clearly absurd and illogical

But you have delivered literally nothing.  It is absurd and illogical to point at the nothing and call it something other than nothing.

You have some "CAD" models which are a fanciful render which is not even slightly suitable for building anything.  It is an outline of what you want it to look like, it is not a functional model.  And even from the art render it is wildly obvious that it is not possible that it could work.  Some motors sketched inside of the envelope, but no thought to mounting, linkages, range of movement, cable trunking, weight, frame or anything else.

You have a "schematic" which is some illegible scribble in paint that wouldn't work anyway.

You have some random electronic components soldered on top of each other which both don't work and aren't suitable for any actual use.  And with your refusal to learn how schematics work you couldn't get a board made for you either.

You don't have any software at all.  Pseudocode doesn't cut it, sorry.

The mechanical bits are poorly constructed non-functional literal garbage.

You have a 3D printer.  You can very cheaply buy motors, drivers and any mechanical part from Aliexpress.  You could have had a functional something in the space of a week.

There are plenty of crafty Youtube videos of people with limited understanding of what they are doing, basically no programming or soldering skills who turn out some really good looking and functional projects over very small time periods.  And they do their best to listen to suggestions from their audience rather than insulting them.

So no, it is illogical to call this thread trolling and especially so when you also say I have dunning kreuger effect etc.  The two positions cannot coexist they are opposite positions.
The two positions are unrelated.  You can have neither, one or both.  It is illogical to state otherwise.

For what it's worth I don't believe you are trolling, but that is not the compliment that you might like to believe.
