I always thought a sex-to-noise ratio of 20mA was about the minimum for a good time.

You need >30mA to get a real buzz and as bonus the RCCB will trip  ;)

I've wanted to build a reverse voltage tester but couldn't find the right power supply.  Saw this and looks perfect.

Aha--it's a voltage mirror!

That's just the bottom view, with furthest away surfaces shown for maximum clarity. Actually, for maximum clarity nothing would be visible, but can't be too pedantic about such things. Imagine viewing the Burj Khalifa from somewhere on the other side of the world - it wouldn't make sense to depict it foundations-up, or show some distant galaxy, so I reckon they got this one right.

In my Uni we used U for AC, V for DC.
U is used for voltage because the unit is already V, and multiplication is not explicit written.
3U = 4V would be just "3V = 4V"

Following usage as prescribed by the American Physical Society and the Chicago Manual of Style, the confusion between mathematical variables and abbreviated units can be avoided completely by italicizing variables and setting unit abbreviations in normal ("Roman") type.
E.g., writing an equation
P = V x I = 3 V x 4 A = 12 W

Oh, the "whys" of the datasheets... The information is there not to be an axiomatic truth, but instead each speck of data must be slowly inhaled while carefully performing a deep search inside oneself to find the true metaphysical sense...

But see, even that simple example gives "AI" problems; just look at the jumbled text on the spray can.
A lot like the funky "electronic components" and text one sees when the prompt is something like "show me a power-supply PCB populated with components".

It is similar to one produced by a human (with correct spelling) some years ago!

That's a mowped.

There's fold out crank pedals (obscured by the handle in that shot) that allow you to finish the lawn if you run out of petrol.

Isn't it funny how the use of words changes. The term arises from the first models which were ride-on mowers and even small tractors, they had actual pedals.

Those do have drive belts, albeit rather shorter than 155".

The plain old push type rotary mowers (non self propelled) "don't need no steenkin' drive belt"!

Yabbut, the mower I had to push around the yard did require a belt. I think. Pretty sure.
My dad insisted on buying a gas-powered reel mower. He didn't like that spinning blade of the rotary type, I guess. I think ours was a Jacobs.

Worked well, though, and wouldn't throw a rock through the mower's bottom plate if you hit one. (That happened to a friend; punched a quarter-size hole in the side of the deck. Ouch.)

More likely a chain.

The one depicted has a clutch control on the bars, so the belt drives the rear wheels. We've had several over many years and they've all had drive to the wheels.

Trying to find an actual resistor in the box. I got one of those and binned it - wasn't even worth offering it for free to anywhere.
