STM32cube IDE debugging two device at once.

So on my custom board I have 2x STM32's, both use SWD 3 wire comm with hardware reset and both of them connect/debug individually with ST-linkV3.
I was wondering how exactly people work in a multi chip, 2x ST-Link debuggers , 2x debugging instances.

I would say have a project for each MCU and link each ST-linkV3 with their corresponding S/N (option 'Use specific ST/Link S/N).
