TI MSP-EXP430FR6989 with BOOSTERXL-SENSORS Example Code

Has anyone tried to communicate with the TI sensors booster using an MSP-EXP430FR6989 development board? The sensor board comes with example code, but only for MSP-EXP432P401R and MSPEXP430FR5994. I checked the booster compatibility page, and the sensor board and my development board are compatible. I'm just not sure how to go about setting up the I2C communication. Anyone have any example code for this problem or good resources for I2C sensor communication on TI chips? Preferably without using RTOS, I just want to directly read accelerometer values from the sensor board and pass them through the MCU to my PC via UART without overcomplicating it.

You likely get a reply faster from the E2E forum from TI.
Meanwhile, you can check on dev.ti.com in the resource explorer for code examples (MSP430 ware)

e2e is a good resource indeed, but you can skip the middle man and take a look at the Peripheral Examples of your device at the dev portal:

I confirmed what you said but provided a link to the examples, as there are many points of entry for demos, middleware, peripherals, etc. So, less confusing to someone that may not be as experienced as others in navigating the portal.
